Rose Cottage is situated in the centre of the pretty Dorset village of Chideock, just 10 minutes’ walk from the World Heritage coastline.
How to find us:
Travelling West, take the A35 from Dorchester until you reach Bridport. Follow the road around the Bridport by-pass and continue towards Honiton. As you come into the village of Chideock you will find Rose Cottage down in the dip on your left hand side.
Secure parking is available on site and nearby.
Local Area
There are two local pubs in the village – The George Inn and The Clockhouse Inn – or you can take a 10 minute wander down the lane at the side of the house to The Anchor Inn at Seatown, which was originally a smugglers haunt. There you can buy good food at reasonable prices, whilst having a relaxing drink on the terrace which overlooks Golden Cap and the Jurassic coastline. Lyme Regis, Charmouth, West Bay and Abbotsbury are all within 15 minutes’ drive.
