Myself and my husband spent another lovely weekend at Rose Cottage-this is the third/fourth time we have stayed and we will definitely return again. Sue and Mick are excellent hosts and as always the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Lovely cooked breakfast each morning set us up for a good day ahead. Excellent location, close to the sea…

This was our third visit to Rose Cottage over a number of years and the welcome was as warm as ever – upon arrival following a long drive we were given tea and biscuits in the sunny back garden. Whole heartedly agree with other reviewers that breakfast was first class and nothing was too much trouble. The location is superb – nip out the back gate and walk down the path until you come to Seatown and a pub by the beach and the magnificent cliffs of Golden Cap. If you like walking, this is a superb base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. We’ll be coming back again, but won’t leave it so long next time!

Room Tip: Light sleepers will probably prefer the double room as it faces the back garden. If you need a bit more space try the twin room at the front of the house. Both rooms are fully double glazed and  any road noise is kept to an absolute minimum.
